Rustic Elegance | Oak Farm Vineyards Wedding

Not-so newlyweds Allison + Greg finally had the wedding of their dreams at the breathtaking Oak Farm Vineyards in the outskirts of Lodi. The couple officially said ‘I do’ back in 2020 with a socially distanced minimony in their quaint backyard, but the two were determined not to let their ideal day slip through their fingers. They fantasized about an elegant, minimalist occasion with a touch of rustic charm. But above all, they wanted to finally be able to celebrate with all of their loved ones gathered in one place.

Growing up in Lodi, A+G chose Oak Farm Vineyards for the close proximity to the bride’s friends and family. And the wine, of course. Since the bride and groom both share a love of wine, the vineyard felt right for them. The couple recited their vows under a breathtakingly lush archway framing the pond.

The reception commenced under twinkling string lights with feather boas and heart-shaped sunglasses at the ready. Having waited so long for their day, they wanted an atmosphere conducive to fun, celebration, and a dance party to remember.

Cozy Outer Richmond Engagement Session

During the height of the pandemic, Alyssa and Dakota had a lot of time to explore their Outer Richmond neighborhood. For their engagement session, we decided to visit two favorite spots: the iconic Balboa Theater and Simple Pleasures Café. They spent many afternoons reading in cozy corners with warm lattes.

After a little adventure around town, we moved to Sutro Baths, where the rugged cliffs and gentle fog perfectly framed the couple. San Francisco is full of diverse and beautiful scenery and it was a pleasure to capture the area they call home!

Botanical Wedding at Marin Art and Garden Center

Newlyweds Fletcher and Christina celebrated their beautifully botanic wedding among lush greenery at the Marin Art and Garden Center. The two met in college at UC Santa Cruz, but didn’t start dating until later on. They were ever hopeful of marrying in 2020, but fate had different plans, and the couple was forced to reschedule multiple times. When the time was finally right in late October of 2021, Fletch and Tina enjoyed a gorgeous day amongst their friends and family.

Despite the threat of rain inconveniently scheduled exactly at their ceremony time, energy was high the whole morning, and the couple trusted mother nature to hold off until after the vows. The clouds finally coalesced as the couple had their first kiss, and a dreamy mist descended on attendees. The light rain only added to a cozy atmosphere as cocktail hour took place under a light-strung canopy. The scatterings of fall leaves meshed perfectly with the dusty lavender, sage green, and soft yellow in the florals.

With ample college friends in the crowd, the reception was a truly enthusiastic festivity. The matrons of honor made a joint toast that summed up the newlywed’s perfect pairing—Fletch learning to turn the video games off and head to bed early to fit Tina’s preschool teacher lifestyle—and ended in a rendition of Frozen’s “Love is an Open Door” that had the whole room cheering.
