Every year on the summer solstice, Cristina and Tim take their coffee up to Twin Peaks to watch the sunrise. They spend the day together, and then find a great spot to watch the sunset. This year, they’ll be spending that day sharing vows with their closest family and friends! A dawn engagement shoot above the city and at Sutro Baths was truly the best fit for these two!

Tank Hill in a bit of a hidden gem, even unknown to a lot of San Francisco natives. Its views rival those of nearby Twin Peaks, but the minimal crowds here allow for much more intimate and romantic experience! San Francisco delivered a blustery day, but Megan and Micheala took it in stride. Aren’t these lovely ladies so stylin’ and adorable?
San Francisco stayed true to form with a layer of fog over Land’s End and Sutro Baths. The moody weather, mixed with the dramatic ruins-meet-ocean landscape, their fantastic style, and adorable chemistry made for an entrancingly romantic afternoon.

Chances are, yes! Our team has worked many venues and locations in the San Francisco area and beyond. No matter the familiarity of the venue, we always show up early to scout the location. We are well versed in expecting the unexpected - things change, construction happens, venues remodel their look, and weather and time of year always play a part. Our team of photographers all share the gift of creativity and ingenuity, meaning that some of our most creative and beautiful works are results of the unexpected or unfamiliar.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes, please! Whether you’re sharing your vows on a secluded desert ridge, Santorini at sundown, a Brooklyn loft, or your grandpa's goat farm, we want to be there to experience it.
WHAT’S THE TRAVEL COST?
We're based in San Francisco and don't charge for travel within 75 miles of the city. Just let us know where you’re celebrating and we’ll send you more detailed information.
DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING?
All of your delivered images are carefully edited for correct color and exposure. Further retouching can be arranged for an additional fee, but we are careful and deliberate with framing and composition, ensuring that the images in your gallery arrive already worthy of that beautiful frame.
HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I EXPECT?
It all depends on your booking collection. You’ll receive about 100 edited images for a 90 minute session, where an 8 hour wedding yields around 800! Every session is different, so this isn't a guarantee, just our best guess.
CAN I SHARE MY PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Share away! But please be sure to credit @buenalane_photography.
HOW QUICKLY WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
We are just as excited to show your images as you are to see them, which is why we send a sneak peak of our favorite 10-20 images within the week. Your complete personal gallery will be delivered online within six weeks.

We host your images on a personal web gallery for a year. This provides easy access for you-and your friends and family-to share photos online, order prints, frames, and books, "favorite" images for your album, and download what you love! We recommend that you download your files and back them up for safe keeping.
WHAT’S THIS GALLERY CREDIT?
You’ll receive a gallery credit when you complete the booking process. It’s one of the ways we hope to show our appreciation for choosing Buena Lane. Your gallery credit can be applied to any product available for purchase from your online gallery store. This includes anything from prints and cards to books and high resolution digital downloads.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?
We offer beautiful heirloom albums with lay-flat pages. Our albums are hand-bound with premium leather, the covers embossed with your names and date. All delivered in a sturdy clamshell keepsake box. No personal printing required, this may be the perfect, timeless keepsake to wrap up your celebration.
I’D LIKE A KEEPSAKE, BUT I DON'T THINK A LEATHER ALBUM IS RIGHT FOR ME.
We’ve got you covered. We offer photo books with linen or photo wrap covers, proof print boxes to store all of your prints, as well as framed professional prints. These products are available for order directly from your web gallery. Your friends and family can even order their own!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT DAY-OF?
We always arrive a few hours before the event to scout, take detailed shots of the venue and your accessories, and snap some pre-ceremony portraits. We’ll handle family and bridal party portraits according to the schedule you set out ahead of time. We work quickly and efficiently so you and your family can get to celebrating!
DID YOU GET THAT SHOT?
While there’s always the possibility for the unexpected, such as an event that runs late or a relative that steps in front of the camera, we do our best to be prepared for anything and everything. We want you to be able to relax knowing that we have a timeline, shot list, and dedication to bringing you every photograph you’ve requested, and then some.

As photographers, we know Mother Nature is breathtaking, beautiful, and perhaps most of all, unpredictable. Although we’re inspired by the vastness of the natural world, you can rest assured knowing that we’re just as skilled indoors as we are out. We want to know your event aspirations, what you're excited about, and what’s most important to you. We’ll return the favor by telling you about us and what we do! If we sound like a good fit, we’ll email you booking options, some important FAQs, and set up a call to come together and discuss it all. Then it's time to get into the nitty-gritty. We’ll talk timeline, meet your S.O., go through Buena Lane’s FAQs, and answer all those lingering questions.

You’re almost there! Once you’ve selected a collection that works for you, we require the signed client agreement and retainer to reserve your date.
WE'VE BOOKED, NOW WHAT?
Put us in touch with your planner, if you have one, as well as your point of contact at your venue. Closer to the date of your event we’ll send over a questionnaire and shot list so we can get more information about your priorities and schedule for the day. Then we’ll be in touch to confirm essential details and go over that schedule.
