Sundrenched Santa Barbara Elopement

Alissa and Anthony’s luncheon at San Ysidrio Ranch in Santa Barbara was so charming and elegant, it’s hard to believe it was planned in three weeks. Yes, you read that right! Not only that, but the bride spent two of those weekends in friends’ wedding parties and the last moving her letterpress business from Mond down to LA.

Alissa and Anthony knew their priority was to be married and living together in LA and Alissa knew she’d end up filling a long engagement with new tasks and decisions to worry over. They considered a true elopement, but when they found the San Ysidro Ranch, the venue was too good not to invite a few more friends to lunch.

After a touching ceremony beneath the mountain, guests were invited to the hacienda lawn for lemonade followed by lunch on the wine cellar patio. Alissa and Anthony’s classic style complimented the charm of San Ysidro, which is rich with Old Hollywood lore. In the end, they created a lovely, romantic soiree reminiscent of the days when Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O. holidayed in Montecito.

Intimate Seaside Celebration at Point Lobos

Eric and Krista let their shared love of the coast and nature inspire their wedding day vision. Their ceremony was an intimate affair on the cliffs in Carmel where Eric first brought Krista on one of their beach picnic dates. The reception was held at the Old Whaling Station, a beautiful historic building in Monterey where the couple would meet on their lunch breaks when they first started dating.

The breath-taking views from California’s Central Coast and the Point Lobos trails were the perfect setting. Eric and Krista worked their nature theme into the details, using driftwood for centerpieces and a metallic papier-mâché moon that hung next to the couple during the reception. For another fun touch, they mixed a specialty cocktail for the event and labeled it “Krista and Eric’s Moonshine.”

Twin Peaks and Sutro Baths Dawn Engagement Session

Every year on the summer solstice, Cristina and Tim take their coffee up to Twin Peaks to watch the sunrise. They spend the day together, and then find a great spot to watch the sunset. This year, they’ll be spending that day sharing vows with their closest family and friends! A dawn engagement shoot above the city and at Sutro Baths was truly the best fit for these two!

Romantic Land and Sea Engagement

Tank Hill in a bit of a hidden gem, even unknown to a lot of San Francisco natives. Its views rival those of nearby Twin Peaks, but the minimal crowds here allow for much more intimate and romantic experience! San Francisco delivered a blustery day, but Megan and Micheala took it in stride. Aren’t these lovely ladies so stylin’ and adorable?

San Francisco stayed true to form with a layer of fog over Land’s End and Sutro Baths. The moody weather, mixed with the dramatic ruins-meet-ocean landscape, their fantastic style, and adorable chemistry made for an entrancingly romantic afternoon.
